Classical Ballet Theatre's Upper Division includes the Pinky/Cavalier Program, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level, and the Ballet Theatre Youth Ensemble, Classical Ballet Theatre's premier performing company.

Classical Ballet Theatre's Pinky/Cavalier Program, established in 2008 by Artistic Director Cynthia Donavin, is a highly selective, fast-track training program for students in Classical Ballet Theatre's lower division that display an exceptional focus, work ethic, and facility for dance. Pinky program dancers train in classical ballet and modern dance 5 days a week in addition to weekly rehearsals and performances. Entrance in to Classical Ballet Theatre's Pinky Program is by invitation only from the Artistic Director. Our Pinky Program graduates are regularly offered professional and scholarship opportunities nationwide.

Classical Ballet Theatre’s Upper Division curriculum puts deliberate emphasis on pre-professional achievement with a graded program and syllabus that provides a strong foundation for those students who wish to pursue a professional career. The Upper Division syllabus includes training in classical and contemporary/modern technique, pointe, and variations. Master Class opportunities with esteemed faculty from Professional Companies around the country are provided. Dancers in the Upper Division are required to perform in CBT’s Nutcracker, Contemporary Evening, Children’s Series and the Public Exam Presentation.

Classical Ballet Theatre's Ballet Theatre Youth Ensemble (BTYE) is a competitive, select group of emerging artists who display the talent, drive and commitment to pursue a professional career in the dance world. This opportunity is by invitation from the faculty only. BTYE is the premier performing company of Classical Ballet Theatre. Dancers brought into the company will be expected to make rehearsing and performing a priority over other commitments. In addition to their regular training and performing schedule. These young aspiring artists will be mentored, coached by the CBT faculty and guest faculty, in preparation for a professional career.
